Hebron School Reunion, London, February 25, 2012

On February 25th I had the privilege, as Alumni Secretary, to attend the Annual Hebron School Reunion in London. So many of my classmates from Lushington Boys' School days were there. I had the opportunity of sharing how active the Alumni Face Book site has become (705 members now), and invited them to see me online and visit their old school soon!

He was in my class over 45 years ago!

Someone said we look like brothers. His bed was next to mine in the dorm in 1965.

The old Lushington uniform, complete with tie and cap

Some of us are losing our hair!

My very best friend from boarding school days

How come everyone else is getting old and not me?

Sunday morning I went to a local restaurant in Twickenham, UK, and enjoyed a real deal, "Full English breakfast." Good thing I don't eat like this every day!

On my trip back from the UK Reunion to Hebron, my taxi from Bangalore took the road through Mysore, then up 36 hairpin bends en route to Ooty. Once in the Nilgiris, I noticed smoke in the mountains and the driver said there had been four days of uncontrolled brush fires due to the very dry weather.
